The Zardetto Prosecco web site is using cookies and similar technologies in order to guarantee the correct functioning of automatic procedures and to improve the user experience of online applications. This document gives detailed informations on cookie usage as well as related technologies, specifying how these are used by Zardetto Prosecco and hoe to manage them.

Analytics and performance improvement Cookies:
These cookies are used to gather and analyse a web site traffic and its usage in an anonymous way. As a matter of example, these cookies, even without identifying the user, allow to notice if a single user is connecting to the same web site at different times. They also allow the monitoring of the system and can be used to improve performance and usability. Disabling these cookies can be done without loss of any functionality.
These are permanent cookies used to identify (either anonymously or not) the user preferences and enhance its surfing experience. Zardetto Prosecco does not use this kind of cookies.
Third parties Cookies
While visiting a web site it’s possible to get cookies either from the visited web site (“proprietary”), or from web sites which are managed by different organisations (“third parties”). An example of this is the presence of “social plugins” for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Linkedin. This is about parts of the web page visited which are automatically generated by the above mentioned web sites and integrated into the hosting web site. The most common usage of social plugins is finalised to the sharing of content on social networks. The presence of these plugins means the transmission of cookies to and from all web sites managed by third parties. The management of all information gathered by “third parties” follows their specific set of rules, towards whom we ask to refer.

Zardetto Prosecco web site includes as well some components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc (“Google”). Even in this case we are in a third party cookies situation, which are collected and managed in an anonymous way to monitor and improve the guest web site (performance cookies). Google Analytics use “cookies” to collect and analyse in an anonymous way information on Zardetto Prosecco web site usage behaviour, including the IP address of the user. These information are collected by Google Analytics that analyses them in order to provide reports for Zardetto Prosecco operators on the activities on the web site itself. This web site does not use, and does not allow any third party to do so, the Google analysis tool to monitor or gather private identification information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other kind of data gathered, nor tries to link the iP address with a user identity. Google can communicate all information gathered to third parties, complying to specific legislation, or in case third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Some cookies (session cookies) are active only until the browser is closed or at logout. Some other cookies can survive when the browser is closed and are available for further visits. These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server at creation time. In some cases a Time-To-Live is set, in some other is not specified (unlimited duration). Zardetto Prosecco does not use persistent cookies. However, while browsing on Zardetto Prosecco web site, it’s possible to interact with third parties that may create or modify permanent cookies for profiling.
The user has the right of choosing if to accept or not cookies using the browser preferences. Disabling “third parties” cookies does not modify in any way the user experience. The preferences can be defined in a specific way for different web sites and applications. Furthermore, some browsers allow the definition of different policies of “proprietary” and “third parties” cookies.
As a matter of example, Firefox, through the menu Tools->Options->Privacy it’s possible to enter into a control panel where it’s possible to define if to accept or not the different kind of cookies and remove them.
